OBJECTIVE: To engage in an exercise of designing in a format of a 10 by 10 foot up to 20 by 20 foot square exhibitor booth for an Etsy Vancouver Spring Craft Show.
Partnership w/ Vicki Parisian - Plant’er Here Designs (Unique concrete plant plots & home décor)
OUTCOME: I started my assignment by doing research about Etsy Shops and reached out to this plant shop. The reason I chose this shop was that I love the concrete material a lot and it is a cool finish for home decor.
This was the first time working with a real client. I was very excited and learned a lot from this experience. I struggled with how to place the products to get customers’ attention once they walk into the booth. I have found that one of the important things is to put the items at eye level since the size of their products are relatively small.
